Susan Meyers is an Associate Professor and Co-Director for Advanced Studies in the School of Occupational Therapy. She teaches postprofessional courses in the areas of qualitative research, program evaluation, and administration. Recent work experiences include community mental health (in London, England) and academic consultancy (in Sydney, Australia). Prior to her work abroad, Susan was chair of the Occupational Therapy Programs at Western Michigan University and University of Tennessee, Memphis. Clinical experiences have been in mental health and administration of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services. Service to occupational therapy has included the AJOT editorial review board and two terms as a reviewer for ACOTE. Susan has presented research nationally and internationally and has had research published in AJOT and OTJR on qualitative research, clinical education, and efficacy of occupational therapy treatment. |
