Christy Troxell is an Assistant Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy. She teaches Foundations for Clinical Reasoning, Occupational Behaviors II, Service Management, and is involved with the new Center for Aging and Community on the University of Indianapolis campus. Clinical experiences have been in the areas of psychiatric acute care and geriatrics. She has held several administrative positions within occupational therapy and rehabilitation departments, and was the program chair for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Ivy Tech State College, Indianapolis, Indiana. Christy is a recognized Allen Authorized Instructor in the area of cognitive disabilities. In addition to her work as an OT, Christy holds multiple certifications within the field of information technology and has been a consulting network administrator for several small businesses. She has an interest in and is pursuing graduate work in health informatics. Professional service to occupational therapy includes membership within AOTA and IOTA.
